My First Mother's Day and Luke's First Swim

Happy Mother's Day to all of you wonderful mom's out there!

My first Mother's Day was a great one! The celebration started with a wonderful mani/pedi with my great friend Christina on Mother's Day Eve and her hubby Ryan surprised us both by picking up the tab - thank you Ryan! While we were out, Bryan surprised me by cleaning the house! Yes, he did two loads of laundry, did the dishes, washed all of the bottles, and picked up the Lukester's goods that were scattered all over the house. Oh, and he put clean sheets on our bed since Luke puked all over the ones that we had just put on the day before. He did all of that while he was babysitting - AMAZING!! Then on Mother's Day, Bry got up with Luke and I slept in (until about 8:00 -darn body clock- but that still counts!) and found some wonderful presents waiting for me. Bryan and Luke got me some beautiful pearl earrings, a matching cross necklace with a pearl in the center, and a matching ring. What a wonderful family I have and thank you, thank you, thank you for such a special day!

Me and beautiful son...check out my necklace! He and Daddy are good shoppers!

We headed over to Bryan's parents house for some lunch with the family and Luke took a swim - more like a dip - in the pool. We thought we would try out his new life jacket, but that was short lived. He loved being in the water! Here are some pictures and a couple of videos of his swim...
