Aaahhh!!! You are 11 months old today Luke! Only one more month until you are the big 1!!! This is what you have been up to in the past month:
- You could really use a haircut (see above photo), but I am trying to hold out for a little longer. Daddy threatens to trim your hair, especially around the ears, just about three times per week. At least.
- You have been stomping on everything ever since Mimi brought over this toy that we named Mr. Stripes. It is a ferret-like animal attached to a ball with batteries in it. The ball rolls around and the animal flops around and you try to step on him. Now you step on everything! You really like to pick on the door stops - I guess you like the springy noise they make when you step on them.
- You can climb the stairs by yourself which scares me! Our baby gate is broken so we have to buy a new one a.s.a.p.!
- You don't want to eat fruit - - only veggies and meat/rice/veggie dinners. Bananas are the biggest item on your black list. I'm not sure about this one.
- You prefer drinking water over juice. Maybe this goes back to your dislike of fruit.
- You are getting really good at walking. When you fall, you will crab-crawl over to something and pull yourself up and continue on your way. You are into everything!
- You are obsessed with the computer more than ever. The only time you are patient is when you are waiting to Skype Grammy and Grandpa. Otherwise, watch out keyboard!
- You are a dancer! Anytime you hear music, you sway to and fro. It is really cute and I should definitely post a video to the Johnson Jingle so everyone can see:)
- You have become more sociable when we go out. You smile at people, especially the ladies. You still don't like for anyone to touch you but at least you smile.
- Your waving bye-bye hiatus is officially over. You wave goodbye when we ask you to in English or Spanish. Adios! We love you:)
