On November 14th, Luke turned two years old! These last two years have just flown by and we are so blessed to have such a wonderful little boy for a son. He is FULL of energy and makes us laugh every day. Here are some Luke fun facts at two years old:
* He still LOVES, and I mean L-O-V-E-S, to dance. He still rocks his signature side to side sway, but will throw in a shoulder roll every once in a while and lately he's been nodding his head to the beat. He usually is the kiddo keeping the beat in his Kindermusik class - it is really cute!
* Luke weighed in at 33.5 lbs (99 %) and measured 35 inches (80%) at his two year checkup.
* He still favors the color yellow and still eats Lucky Charms marshmallows in a particular order: all of the yellow first, followed by the green, then usually the white/orange, pink, and blue always last. He can point to colors when asked.
* His new treasure is a red beaded lobster necklace (picture Mardi Gras type necklace with a lobster at the bottom) and he wears it constantly. He has also discovered daddy's shoes which he loves wearing around the house.
* He has eaten meat for the last three days in a row, which is exciting for us because he has been on a meat hiatus for about two months. We've been supplementing other foods so he gets his protein and iron, but wow - not eating meat makes mealtime a little more challenging, especially considering he's not much into the veggies either. Picky, picky, picky!
* He loves our dogs and he tries to get them to chase him around the house. They are getting old, so they mostly watch him run around and wait for a pat on the head before he makes another lap.
* He loves trying to "tickle, tickle, tickle" us and the dogs. He tickles us and says, "ticka, ticka, ticka," immediately followed by hysterical laughter!
* Luke loves trains, cars, trucks, and pretty much anything with wheels. He also loves being outside regardless of the condition.
* He is a happy, fun little guy and we love him the most!
