Tahoe Day 1: Getting There isn't Always Fun

For Luke's second Thanksgiving, we headed to South Lake Tahoe, CA for some fun in the snow with Mimi and Uncle Steve. Unfortunately we missed the check in time for our 6:00 a.m. flight by 4 minutes and so we weren't allowed to check in! We couldn't talk the lady into letting us check in because they are strict for the holidays and every flight is oversold, etc. So...we upgraded to first class and came back at 2:30 to catch our flight. The bad part was that we had a two hour drive from the airport in Sacramento to the cabin in South Lake Tahoe through the mountains in the dark. The good part was that we upgraded to First Class. I know I already mentioned that, but First Class is sooooooo much better when traveling with a baby. It made ALL the difference on that long 4 hour flight. We were so lucky - Luke was the perfect traveler!

Pushing his frog pillow around in the stroller

Spinning the wheels, making sure they are working properly

Our first flight to Houston

He loved drinking some of Daddy's cranberry juice

We loved first class the best!!

Like a pro! He held on the entire time while on the rent-a-car shuttle.
