Two Accidents in Two Days. Sheesh!

I would like to begin this post by stating that I am soooo not ready for this part of Luke growing up - - - accidents! I know it goes with the territory, but I don't know if I will ever get used to it. Yesterday, Luke sort of threw himself out of his highchair when the babysitter was removing his tray. She was able to catch him, but not before he hit his mouth. Thankfully, he was not seriously hurt and I was at home working when it happened so I was able to assess Luke and calm him down. Really, I think it scared him more than anything. Then today, he was standing solo and holding on to his Jumparoo when he took a step and hit the side of his face. Bryan was right there to catch him and again, I think it mostly scared him.

I am trying to tell myself that these things happen and will continue to happen for a looonnnnggggg time. Heck, even we adults still have accidents! It is part of growing up.

Big boy likes to be in charge of the remote. Twice now, the t.v. has been off, he has picked up the remote and pushed buttons, then looked at the t.v. When nothing happened, he looked at me like "what's the problem, mom? the t.v. isn't working!"

He also wants to be in charge of the camera but we aren't there yet!
