Campout in Luke's Room - - - Over!

Mission "Get Luke to Sleep in his own Crib" is officially a success! We camped out on the air mattress in his room for about 7 or 8 days. The first three nights were the longest - he was waking up constantly throughout the night. On the fourth night, I had to sleep in the guest room right next door because that air mattress is a killer on the back, but Daddy was a trooper and stayed in Luke's room. Thankfully Luke was only waking up two or three times during the night at that point, so it wasn't too bad.

So typically now, Luke goes to sleep between 8:00 and 9:00 and sleeps until 5:20 a.m. It is so strange, but his wake up call is always at 5:20 or 5:22. He gets his first bottle, a diaper change, and usually goes back to sleep until about 7:30 a.m. He plays until 11:00 or so, then sleeps for about 1.5 - 2 hours. He plays and plays until late afternoon when he takes a 30 minute cat nap, then it is back to sleep between 8:00 and 9:00. Of course we have lots of diaper changes, meals, snacks, and photoshoots inbetween - not to mention a bath!
